Damage to the cartridge bearing and barrel profile due to bending of the cleaning rod is virtually eliminated. The lightweight carbon rod is guided backlash-free in the handle with axial ball bearings specially designed for this application, thus extremely reducing friction. The cleaning medium thus follows exactly the barrel profile (field and tension).
The carbon cleaning rod is delivered with the following cleaning set:
- Brass tip for cotton patches
- Wool brush
- spring brush for cal. 22 l. r. internal thread 1/8"
The special spring brush adapts to the internal profile of the barrel, follows exactly the twist of the barrel and removes bullet and powder residues.
