Picatinny and Weaver scope mounts from Anschütz Optics, Scalarworks and MDT – for PCP air rifles and tactical platforms. Is your rifle fitted with a dovetail rail instead? We carry those too.

Picatinny and Weaver rails are the standard on modern, tactically-oriented air rifles and PCP systems. The standardised slot spacing (MIL-STD-1913 for Picatinny) allows flexible positioning of a riflescope, additional optics, or accessories anywhere along the rail.

Ring Mounts from Anschütz Optics

The Anschütz Optics ring mounts are made from high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium and available in 1 inch (25.4 mm) and 30 mm tube diameters as well as Low, Medium and High heights. The quick-release (QR) version allows tool-free mounting and removal, while the tactical version with two hex screws per ring offers maximum stability for hard use. An adjustable, height-variable ring mount is also available for fine-tuning to different optics and shooting positions.

Precision Mounts from Scalarworks

With the Scalarworks FUSE/02 (30 mm) and FUSE/03 (34 mm) we offer extremely light (approx. 149-151 g) yet highly rigid mounts made from 7075-T6 aluminium and 4140H steel, including the integrated LevelDrive system for fast, precise alignment. The KICK/01 top-ring extension lets you mount additional Picatinny accessories above the main optic, while the KICK/06 allows combining the setup with an RMR-footprint red dot.

Electronic Levels

For long-range and PRS applications we offer electronic levels such as the MDT SEND IT GEN2 with LED indicator and the matching MDT M-LOK V-Mount adapter for direct integration on M-LOK handguards – so you can keep your eye on target while checking the rifle's cant.

Follow the Correct Torque Specs

For a secure, stress-free fit, recommended torque values are usually 2.0-2.2 Nm for the ring screws at the riflescope and 3.4-5.6 Nm for fixing the mount to the rail, depending on the model. Excessive torque can damage the scope tube – we recommend using a torque wrench.

Matching Accessories

For rifles with a 9-11 mm dovetail rail, an adapter to Picatinny/Weaver is also available. You'll also find the matching riflescope in the correct tube diameter in our range.

Frequently Asked Questions About Picatinny and Weaver Mounts

What's the difference between Picatinny and Weaver?

The two rail systems look very similar. Picatinny rails (MIL-STD-1913) have standardised slot spacing and width, while Weaver rails can vary slightly. In practice, most Picatinny mounts also fit Weaver rails.

Can I use a Picatinny mount on a dovetail rail?

Not directly – you'll need an adapter that converts the 9-11 mm dovetail rail to Picatinny/Weaver, which we also carry.

QR mount or screw-on mount – which is better?

Quick-release (QR) mounts allow tool-free, fast removal and suit frequent optic swaps. Screwed-on tactical mounts often offer marginally more stability for continuous hard use.

How important is the correct torque?

Very important – excessive torque can damage the scope tube or deform the mount. We recommend a torque wrench and following the manufacturer's specs (usually 2.0-2.2 Nm at the scope, 3.4-5.6 Nm at the rail).
