With the TX200 Hunter Carbine (HC), Air Arms answered many shooters' wish for a more compact version of the proven TX200 – without sacrificing the precision that made the spring-piston rifle famous worldwide. Unlike the S400 and S510 PCP models, the TX200 runs entirely without a compressed-air system: a cocking stroke at the barrel loads the spring, and the pellet is loaded directly into the barrel. Every variant shares a Lothar Walther match barrel, a built-in moderator, the Air Arms Safe-Lok loading system, and a synthetic bearing system for reduced friction. The finishing touch is a computer-engineered CD trigger unit – finely adjustable and mechanically consistent.

TX200 HC – Classic in Beech and Walnut

The classic HC line comes in four configurations: beech, right-handed, walnut, right-handed, walnut, left-handed, and a discounted walnut, left-handed clearance unit (cosmetic scratches in the bluing, see product photo). Frequently Asked Questions About the Air Arms TX200

What's the difference between the TX200 HC and the Ultimate Springer?

Mechanically the two are very similar, but the Ultimate Springer offers far more extensive stock adjustment (cheek piece for height, side offset, tilt and rotation, plus a 3-axis buttplate) and a chrome trigger – ideal if you want to fine-tune the rifle exactly to your body posture.

Why does the Ultimate Springer weigh more than the classic HC?

The extra weight (4.2kg vs. 4kg) comes from the more elaborate, multi-adjustable stock mechanism with cheek piece and 3-axis buttplate.

Is the TX200 available for left-handed shooters?

Yes, the classic HC line comes in both right- and left-handed versions (walnut, left-handed). The Ultimate Springer is currently only available right-handed.

What's the story with the clearance unit?

The clearance unit is a technically flawless rifle with cosmetic scratches in the bluing; the original packaging is in good condition. Function and precision match the regular variant, but you save on the purchase price.
