The FX Dreamline Lite Cal. 4.5mm and its sibling models are fully modular PCP air rifle systems – featuring the revolutionary FX Smooth Twist X barrel (STX), a world-renowned Match Grade Trigger and extensive customisation options. Once you own an FX Dreamline, the question of which accessories truly suit your model will come up sooner or later.

AirGhandi – air gun enthusiast and employee of jabolo GmbH – has compiled his recommended accessories for all Dreamline variants in a detailed video. AirGhandi's Scope Recommendations for the FX Dreamline

For Short Distances on a Budget: Anschütz Optics CLASSIC 2-7x32

For shooters working at shorter distances – from 4.6 m onwards – who want a compact and reliable optic, AirGhandi recommends the Anschütz Optics CLASSIC 2-7x32. The scope offers variable magnification of 2–7x, a 32 mm objective lens and a MIL Dot reticle without illumination. Parallax correction is adjustable from 4.6 m, the housing is IP-67 certified (dust- and waterproof) and lenses are fully multi-coated (FMC). Weight: 420 g.

For Medium Distances on a Budget: Anschütz Optics CLASSIC 4-12x40

For shooters aiming at medium to longer distances while keeping costs in check, AirGhandi names the Anschütz Optics CLASSIC 4-12x40 as a solid choice. It offers 4–12x magnification, a 40 mm objective, parallax correction from 9 m, MIL Dot reticle, FMC coating and IP-67 protection. The 25.4 mm maintube is compatible with standard mounts. For Higher Demands: Anschütz Optics AIR PRO 3-12x44

AirGhandi states that he personally uses the Anschütz Optics AIR PRO 3-12x44 on several of his own rifles. The scope is specifically designed for air rifles and is recoil-proof for all calibres. Technical features: 3–12x magnification, 44 mm objective, 30 mm maintube, side-adjustable parallax from 10 m, 6-stage reticle illumination, zero-stop function, click value 1/10 MRAD, adjustment range 26.2 MRAD. For Short Distances with Fast Target Acquisition: Anschütz Optics Reflex Pro wide (28x20)

Those preferring a lightweight setup for short distances can alternatively use the Anschütz Optics Reflex Pro wide (28x20). It requires a Picatinny rail. The reflex sight offers three selectable reticles (2 MOA dot, 35 MOA circle or a combination of both), 7 brightness levels, automatic activation and deactivation via motion sensor, IP-67 protection and a large 28×20 mm lens window. Weight: only 42 g.

AirGhandi's Bipod Recommendations – Depending on Your Dreamline Model

Classic FX Dreamline models do not have a Picatinny rail underneath the rifle. AirGhandi recommends shooting bags as a rest in these cases. For all models with a Picatinny rail – i.e. the Lite and Tactical variants – the following bipods are available:

The Caldwell Accumax Carbon Bipod, Picatinny uses carbon fibre legs with twist-lock adjustment, soft rubber feet and Picatinny mounting. Weight: approx. 240 g, height: approx. 15–23 cm.

Versatile and Stable: MDT GRND-POD BiPod black/green for Picatinny

The MDT GRND-POD BiPod black/green for Picatinny stands out with independently adjustable carbon legs, a tilt function of up to 40°, 4 locking leg positions and height adjustment from 4.5" to 9". All adjustments can be made with one hand.

For Precision Long-Range Shooting: Accu-TAC Bipod WB-04

The Accu-TAC Bipod WB-04 is described by AirGhandi as his personal go-to bipod for rifle tests at 25 and 50 metres. Made from aircraft-grade aluminium with high-strength steel components, it offers 4 leg angle positions, 5 height levels, a lockable tilt function and Picatinny mounting. Weight: approx. 630 g.

To detect any canting of the rifle, AirGhandi recommends different bubble levels depending on the Dreamline variant:

Pellets for the FX Dreamline

AirGhandi notes from his experience that FX rifles generally perform well with soft lead. He recommends JSB pellets – for example JSB Exact 4.52 mm for the 4.5 mm versions, and appropriate .30 calibre pellets for the 7.62 mm versions. JSB products are available at jabolo.de.

Measuring Velocity: FX Pocket Chronograph V2

The FX Pocket Chronograph V2 measures muzzle velocity via Doppler radar and transmits data via Bluetooth to a smartphone app (iOS & Android). Users can create multiple rifle profiles, record shot strings and view standard deviations. Measurement range: 288–1250 fps. Mounting via Picatinny adapter or barrel bracket. Please note: The device does not measure projectiles below 288 fps – at 7.5 J in calibre 7.62 mm, velocity is too low for measurement according to the manufacturer.

AirGhandi's Suppressor Recommendations for the FX Dreamline

All FX Dreamline models feature a 1/2" UNF thread, enabling suppressor attachment. Please observe the laws applicable in your country regarding the use of suppressors.

DonnyFL Sumo – for Calibre 4.5/5.5 mm and 7.62 mm

The DonnyFL Sumo for calibre 4.5 & 5.5mm - Suppressor and the DonnyFL Sumo for calibre 7.62mm (.30) - Suppressor feature a mono-core design with no moving parts, sandblasted and anodised finish, and 1/2" UNF thread. Diameter: 40.64 mm.

DonnyFL YOKOZUNA QD – with Quick-Disconnect System

For faster attachment and removal, DonnyFL offers a Quick-Disconnect system: The DonnyFL YOKOZUNA QD 5,5mm/.22 - 1.6 x 7.25 - Suppressor is used for 4.5 mm calibre rifles (one calibre larger than the bore to prevent pellet clipping). For the 7.62 mm version, AirGhandi recommends the DonnyFL YOKOZUNA QD 9mm /.357 - M18x1 - Suppressor with a suitable adapter. Both models feature an indexed locking system for a consistent position without point-of-impact shift.

The DonnyFL QD Barrel Adapter M1/2x20 (compatible with 1/2" UNF) is required for the QD system and is screwed onto the barrel once during initial setup.

Air Supply: Hand Pump or Compressor?

Hill MK5 Pro Hand Pump with 1/8" BSP Connection and Dry Filter

The Hill MK5 Pro hand pump with 1/8" BSP connection and dry filter features a patented Dry-Pac filter system that, according to the manufacturer, removes approximately 90% of moisture from the drawn-in air. It delivers up to 310 bar and is manufactured in the United Kingdom. For connecting to deeply recessed Foster fill valves, the Best Fittings Quickfill Adapter Foster female long is a useful addition.

Hill EVO-310 (formerly EC-3000) Bench Compressor

For those who shoot regularly at home, AirGhandi recommends the Hill EVO-310 (formerly EC-3000) Bench Compressor. The compressor is produced in Sheffield, UK, and features a digital pressure display, adjustable target pressure (50–310 bar), automatic air purge during cooling cycles, and can optionally be paired with the Hill Dry-Pac Pro for maximum moisture protection.
